© Talkmor.com 2026 – Quick overview only
Level: Young Learners / Basic pre-A1 to A1
Time: 35–50 min
Aim: Fun, visual practice of demonstratives (this/that/these/those) through pointing, pictures, matching, sentences, and games.
PDF Structure
- PDF 1(5 pages):
- Page 1: Lesson plan intro + key grammar explanation + warm-up pointing + visual intro with cartoon images.
- Pages 2–5: BIG picture-only flashcards (one close/far object or group per page) – front = image only (no text), back for teacher reference.
- PDF 2 (1 page): Circle the correct answer + coloring pictures with sentences.
- PDF 3 (3 pages): Extra practice – matching, classroom pointing game, mini role-play, vocabulary list for real objects.
Quick Tips
- Start with PDF 1 flashcards: Point close/far, say “This is…” / “Those are…”. Students repeat + point.
- Use gestures: Point near for this/these, point far for that/those.
- Do matching (PDF 1) + coloring/sentences (PDF 2) for controlled practice.
- Add movement: Classroom pointing game (PDF 3) – “Show me this!” or “Point to those!”.
- Mini role-play (PDF 3): Pairs ask/answer “What is this?” → “This is a book.”
- Homework: Point to 4 things at home and say “This is…” / “Those are…”.
Keep it active — lots of pointing, standing, and giggling! Teachers can mix pages for short or longer lessons.
Enjoy the class!
