Lesson aim:
Students will confidently introduce themselves and others using basic greetings and questions, with lots of speaking practice to build confidence on day 1 or as an icebreaker.

- Introduction Harder (10+ min): Slightly more challenging intro activities (still simple) for progression.

- Find Someone Who… (10–15 min): Mingle/walking activity where students ask classmates questions to find matches.
- Homework (15+ min): Reinforcement exercises to practice at home.
- Review (10 min): Assessment worksheet with varied activities; Teacher’s Key included where needed.
