Teacher Notes – HOUSE / ROOMS / FURNITURE

Level: Pre-A1 / A1 (True Beginners)

Time: 45–60 min

Aim: Teach room names (bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom) + furniture vocab (bed, sofa, table, chair, fridge, TV, toilet, etc.). 

Practice: “This is my [room].” / “There is a [item] in the [room].” + simple questions/descriptions.

Quick flow: Oral warm-up → choral practice with pictures → matching/labeling → writing → pair speaking → mingling or “I Spy” game. 

Focus & tips: Articles (“a bed”), “There is/are”, prepositions “in the…”, basic plurals. 

Printable (color/B&W fine), no extras needed.
