Goal: Learn common classroom objects and school supplies using “This is a…” and “I have a…” with simple pointing.

Tips  

  • Speak very slowly. Repeat everything 5–10 times.  
  • Use big gestures, smiles, thumbs up.  
  • Praise every try (“Good job!”, “Excellent!”, clap/cheer).  
  • If students are shy, let them point or whisper first.  
  • Keep energy high — clap, cheer, smile a lot!

Print PDF 1 flashcards (big pictures of classroom objects) and laminate if possible. Use them for pointing, saying, and matching.
