Easter

🐣 TEACHER’S OVERVIEW

Easter – Spot the Differences (A1–B1)

This lesson uses two simple Easter pictures to practise English from A1 to B1.

Students begin with Easter vocabulary, picture observation and simple speaking. At A2, they work with prepositions, there is / there are, descriptions and practical communication. At B1, the pictures become a springboard for discussions about Easter traditions, culture, chocolate, holidays and changing celebrations.

What’s Included

🟢 A1 – 1 PDF
Easter vocabulary, picture observation, What Am I?, colours, animals and simple speaking.

🟡 A2 – 2 PDFs
Vocabulary, Spot the Differences, prepositions, there is / there are, suggestions and Easter role-play.

🔵 B1 – 2 PDFs
Easter traditions, culture, memories, chocolate, problem-solving, discussion and creative speaking.

5 printable PDFs • 3 levels • 1 picture set

Note: This lesson intentionally stops at B1. The picture is simple and works particularly well for younger or lower-level learners, so there is no need to stretch it artificially into a B2 lesson.

💡 TEACHING TIP

Give students time to look carefully at the pictures before starting.

At lower levels, encourage students to name, find and describe.

At B1, don’t rush through the ten differences. Ask students to explain exactly what has changed and where.

The real value of Spot the Differences is not simply finding the answer — it’s making students turn what they can see into accurate spoken English.
