About this series:
Challenge a Friend is a fun collection of printable mini-lessons for Basic ESL students. Each PDF gives students a mix of grammar, vocabulary, spelling, pronunciation, idioms, and general knowledge in a short “challenge” format. The goal is to make learning active, social, and a little competitive!
How to use:
- Students work in pairs or small groups.
- They ask each other the questions and fill in the blanks.
- They can give each other points for correct or creative answers (total 40).
- Use the key on page 2 to check or discuss answers together.
Tip:
Encourage laughter, teamwork, and conversation — the best learning happens when students are having fun!
